Final Fantasy Agito 13 will be a title for the mobile phone and has been described by Square Enix as an Online RPG. Similar to Before Crisis: Final Fantasy VII, the player will be adventuring on their own and joining up with their party only when needed.
The latin word “Agito” in Final Fantasy Agito 13, means stimulus or moving violently.
The story of Final Fantasy Agito 13 will begin in a magic school. As players progress from the magic school, they will be able to head out into the main world.
There will be at least 12 different students from the magic school, the player will be able to choose from any one of these students and play as them in the game. Each of the 12 students will have a different weapon available to them, these weapons include guns, a bow and arrow, swords and there are some students that can fight without weapons.
i’m so pissed…i probably won’t have a phone capable of playing this…
this game doesn’t even look that good. And why have it on a mobile? it seems like a waste of production time. If they were going to make it portable they should make it for the PSP

the japanese doesn’t have a phone capable of play agito, they’re waiting the 4th generation of ntt docolmo ketai to release so they can release kingdom hearts coded and ffagito13

I recon Agito is a waist of time if on the Mobile Phone. Its big in Japan, like Before Crisis. But it isnt gonna sell hugely in the UK, maybe in US, but the UK its gonna be hard. Just stick to PS3, PSP, NintendoDS or XBox 360, in my view…
i agree…although i know squenix isn’t taking final fantasy to the 360. that’d probably kill sales in japan.
Yea, I played all the other final fantasy games like everyone else. I really got into FF11 the online game. I heard through the grapevine that they were making another MMORPG game! (Using their experience from making FF11 the new FF mmorpg game must be even better then their last!) Not only that, but found out its coming out with the company of 2 other amazing FF games! what more could I want??
But this is gonna before a mobile phone? I dont want some Digapets sh*t (forgot what its called for sure, but the mini game where one takes care of his pet on a mini hand-held.) How am I gonna take this seriously if am trying to get abunch of friends together in the middle of some street with our phones flipped out like a PSP commercial. Get real!

why do they even make final fantasy games for cell phones? it’s not like they’ll have good graphics! and it just takes from the fun of the game (if there is any fun).
they did make one for final fantasy 7…i think you played as reno or something.
yurie have you seen the images for agito? those are the images that require the next-gen phones that aren’t available yet. so i think that the graphics might actually be pretty damn good.

i agree that it should be psp, but not ps2. square is moving on from ps2. if they made it for that instead, it’d probably do worse than if they made it for mobile.
agito really doesnt look atractive at all. . .i mean, knowing square, the story will be phenomenal, and gameplay might as well, but to put i a cell phone is just bad business. . .at least here in US. . .i mean, will i have to get an iphone to play it?. . .honestly, if i have to pay a shit load of money to play it, and on top of that its online, screw square. . .so yeah, im pissed about this one. . .on another hand, i like pop corn. . .

i don’t really know why…it wouldn’t sell any less if it was for the psp. it’d sell much more in fact. this game will probably get a lot of recognition in japan, but here, well it’s already unpopular.
i personally think its a great idea. i’ll be getting a ps3 later this year, and my 2year contract with sprint is up this spring, and their supposed to be releasing WiMax and first for 4G this year so im hoping to be able to get agito :). with 3-d rendering on phones coming into play im sure it’ll be a great game
like i said before, the game will be good. . .that’s square’s trademark, good games. . .its just for the wider audience, mostly outside of japan, its just annoying. . .
well that wimax is for people who can afford it…my phone works just fine, and i’m not gonna buy a super expenisve high-tech phone for agito…no matter how good this game is.

that’s exactly what i was thinking. i’d rather spend that $400 (or less) on the ps3 itself that i will get a lot more use out of.
this is a comment you posted quite a while ago here, Gregorio, when we were discussing agito 13. i think the images on this website for agito may just be an opening movie, or something. so, those images may not be the actual graphics.
well that’s what i mean…if it’s an opening movie, it’s still going to have to be a phone capable of showing graphics like this. and by looking at the graphics of the opening movie…you can kind of get a feel for the possible graphics of the gameplay. it looks like the graphics could rival the psp.

yeah, i think it’s got a lot of online potential. overall, i think ps3 has the potential to the best system out of the three, it’s just having a really, really slow start.
i aggree with gregorio ps3 will handle the game smoothly and it will be an awsome game if it came out only if square einx read this stuff and actually started to work on it or something man!
i know, i can wait though. i just hope that nomura isn’t taking breaks on versus to work on one of his other other projects, namely KH: Birth by Sleep, Coded, and 358/2 days. that’d kinda suck, because than it’ll be a VERY long time before we see it.

And to think all those nights not being able to sleep at night because your tempted to not only talk on the phone but when your bored just stayed glued to your phone playing an ff game! So if your a big gamer and got a lotta mula to blow than this would be pretty cool to try it out and if not isn’t there always a 30 day money back gaurentee?
probably…but if you’ve got enough money to blow on a ps3 and a brand new phone…you probably wouldn’t really need to worry about a 30 day money back guarantee.

haha yeah i know…but if you really really want to play this though…a job is required. i realized i needed a job when my addiction to buying/playing video games was kinda getting out of hand. screw getting help to stop an addiction, just get a job to make it easier.
Lol I know exactly how you feel Gregorio, well my mom bought my Ps3 last summer, but she said i would have to buy the games myself. so i had to get a job and buy the games that i want, and down here brand new PS3 Releases go for about $77-$80 C.I.(jus for reference 1 U.S. Dollar is 80 C.I. Cents down here).
I wonder if square puts sum sort of drug into the game that has you hooked on it like a crack head or sumthing :P.

I don’t really care about the mobile version, it’s gonna suck, yes it really should be on the PSP. Just as long as Microsoft doesn’t interfere like they did GTAIV. For those who don’t know, Microsoft paid Rockstar $50 Million to cut down the game so it would fit on a Xbox 360 disc, even though they had already made it for the Blu-Ray disc. Go to hell Microsoft, leave the gaming industry alone, and stick to your gay Windows.
I dont think this game is gonna suck i mean…. look at the graphics for it, it probly wont be GREAT but i agree with you on the Psp part Alpha Clank. the first cell phone ff game that was released came out only in japan (i call it Japanatown). and damn it can you believe our luck it was a ff7 game to…….shit. but back to the topic, if we are going to get a new phone in order to play this game, don’t you think it would be fair if we could download Before Crisis as well. they said it would eventually be released in the U.S. but they haven’t posted nor even translated anything for the U.S. release date in years. im willing to get a job and buy a new FOMA P900iv mobile phone because i am perusing a video game career and stuff like that and i would in fact like to play as many games as possible ( OMG thank you for emulators). Gregorio you seem to know a lot more about Final Fantasy business and development wise than i do, please tell me some info on Agito and before crisis U.S. progress.
i feel as though final fantasy should stay as a 1 title core series…not saying it cant have spin offs like the adventure for the gameboy, the mana seires, tactics, and so on, but the idea of having more than one game in the core series having its own number is rather annoying…i hated X-2…they should have just stuck with X. who know…maybe this one will make up for it and XIII verses and the Agito might be cool…but all and all. final fantasy should remain with only 1 title getting a roman numeral.
your kind of right because we are at the point where if they want to put out another FF game thats a sequel or prequel to the previous ff tittle then it could just be down loadable content. but if they did that they could lose out on cash because when they sell the games at the store there 60 bucks and down loadable things aren’t usually that high. its sort of like cutting there profits by a 3rd or something. who knows really though, i was just throwing that out there as my idea.
honestly, i don’t see why they didn’t release it in the US in the first place…it sounded pretty fun. i remember trying to download it on my phone when i first heard about it, but i failed. anyway…if they don’t release it with agito (which doesn’t make much sense since they have nothing to do with each other), we will probably never see an english translated version of before crisis. the game itself really isn’t that big, so it probably wouldn’t be very beneficial for the company to put any time into trying.
i want it BAD because you play as the turks and now in japan they have told an exclusive story for every Turk and on top of that the tell you about the characters that were in Avalanche even before Cloud and Barret were there. to tell you the truth numerous people praise before crisis because i has a good story that is almost as good ad the original ff7. and on top of that theres an ass load of Turks and avalanche members that we have never even heard of before. it also adds up more of the original FF 7 story than crisis core did. Crisis core tells you about Zack and others while Before crisis tells you about the scientist that created Sephiroth and how the avalanche rebellion was lead by a woman with super human strength and unparalleled power. they said she was even stronger than Sephiroth. now tell me you don’t want to play this. seriously. and for some reason SHE LOOKS JUST LIKE LIGHTNING IN FF 13. SERIOUSLY JUST LIKE HER. I WONDER IF THERE IS A CONNECTION. i know there isn’t but seriously they could be twins. her name is Elfe. look it up.
